It wouldn’t be until a few years later, at 20, that Rodrigo would experience a sharp pain on his wrist: the ‘X’ now had an ‘O’ over it. The weirdest event was the cut on his left wrist changing into an ‘X’ shape. Even though he got a little better, he was now experiencing weird events: the power would go out at his house, static affected electronic devices, he saw shadows and heard whispering. Rodrigo’s life went downhill from there, he developed PTSD and had to attend therapy sessions. The screaming alerted his dad, who ended up shooting the masked person dead. ![]() In return, the masked person made a cut on Rodrigo’s left wrist. The masked person accidentally ripped open Rodrigo’s doll which caused the kid to start screaming and kicking. The person smashed the window and grabbed the kid by his legs, dragging him outside. As Rodrigo was deciding his next move, a masked person stood outside the car door and stared at him through the window. Holding onto his doll tightly, Rodrigo waited for his father to start the car and set off.Īfter arriving at an old, abandoned cabin, Rodrigo stayed inside the car as his father met with his colleagues and went into the building. One fateful night, Rodrigo sneaked into his father’s car after overhearing a conversation between his old man and a colleague they had found a lead on a murder case. Elastic The body of a faceless stalker is so elastic it can easily move through tight spaces. After moving to the United States from his home country, Chile, Rodrigo started feeling neglected by his father as the older man wouldn’t pay attention to him due to his work. Abilities Change Shape A faceless stalker can change its appearance to mimic any medium humanoid. While it can't be used as an attack, the sight of a faceless stalking feeding on a bound victim is enough to turn even the most heroic warrior's stomach. The most disturbing part of this is that they prefer live victims. As they have no mouths they feed on the bodily fluids of their victims by sucking it through proboscis-like feeding tubes. Their feeding is one of the most alien parts of their nature. Instead their entire body is made of the same rubbery flesh. Their bodies have no bone as bones would hinder the elasticity and thus their role as infiltrators. They were designed as an infiltrating weapon. The ecology of the faceless stalker as creations of the aboleth is unique and wholly unnatural. Ironically, as creations of the atheist aboleths, many faceless stalkers are themselves religious, often worshiping the parasite deity Ghlaunder. Faceless stalker tribes rarely number more than a dozen, as any larger tribes tend to collapse from in-fighting. Then they proceed to squander the community's resources until they are entirely used up, then they move on. As such they often infiltrate small villages, gradually killing and replacing all of the original residents. Much of this original mission still remains within faceless stalkers' primal instincts. ![]() They were originally created as weapons against the burgeoning humanoid empires above and were used to infiltrate their societies and collapse them from within. Faceless stalkers are also often found in the villages of other humanoids. The earliest faceless stalkers tried to return to the water where their aquatic masters, the aboleth, dwell, however, they are not aquatic so instead they settled in the coastal swamps as close to their masters as possible. Habitat & Ecology įaceless stalkers tend to dwell is swamps. The pliancy of its flesh is also completely inhuman as no humanoid creature should be able to move the way faceless stalkers move. ![]() The whole body is covered in the same crimson skin with no difference in colouration anywhere on their bodies. Their bodies, while humanoid in shape, are completely lacking in facial features. Faceless stalkers are dark crimson masses of pliant flesh and scaly skin.
